To travel across India by rickshaw is really taking the biscuit for absurd methods of crossing a country. We will be flying into India just before Christmas this year and aiming to travel from The SOuth to the North in about 3 weeks. The journey is still under negotiation but looks like being somewhere between 2000 and 4000 kilometres. We will have no back up team! As the organisers say it is an adventure not a petting zoo so our arrival at the destination, or our safety is in no way guaranteed! We shall be travelling as light as possible. This way we should be able to carry on without too much difficulty. Because of the time frames concerned it is likely that we will also travel some distance by train and no doubt elephant. |
